The International Conference on ICT and Post-2015 Education jointly sponsored by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Ministry of Education of P.R.C. was held in Qingdao from May 23rd to 25th, 2015. More than 300 representatives from international organizations and famous enterprises from over 90 countries and more than 200 representatives from China attended the conference.

In May 2015, the Ministry of Education's 12th "Five-Year" vocational education national planned teaching materials book list was officially announced. Twenty-nine teaching books (covering four majors) declared by China Central Radio and TV University (CCRTVU, now the Open University of China, OUC) Press were selected for inclusion in the book list.
Registration for appointments for finals testing for online courses at Nanjing Radio and Television University (Nanjing RTVU) in the spring of 2015 were completed smoothly by May 24th. With 46 available courses in the pilot test appointment programme, 1,174 applicants have registered for their test appointment.

The “OUC Micro-Lectures” project was built by the Digital Learning Resources Centre (DLRC) of the Open University of China (OUC).
