On 26th July 2018, a bachelor's degree awarding ceremony for the first group of graduates was held at Bayi School of the Open University of China (OUC). Thirteen undergraduate representatives from different places and different arms of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) gathered in Beijing to attend the degree awarding ceremony. Dressed in their graduation gowns, the graduates went to the podium and accepted the Tassel Turning Ceremony from Mr. Liu Chen, vice president of the OUC.
