Beijing, 11 October 2025 - The Open University of China (OUC) welcomed its new students majored in AI and Course-Learning Project for 2025 fall semester. Beijing 14 September 2025 – The Closing Ceremony of the 2025 “Golden Age Cup” National Senior Arts Showcase & Performance was held at the Future Theatre of the China Soong Ching Ling Science & Culture Centre for Young People in Beijing, China, marking the conclusion of the six-month nationwide cultural event for the elderly.

20 September 2025, Jingdezhen – The Fifth Online Oil Painting Teaching Achievements Exhibition of the Open University of China (OUC) and Seniors University of China (SUC) was officially opened in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province. The exhibition showcases works by 104 participants from 20 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across China, as well as from countries and regions including the United States, New Zealand, Canada, and Japan. The participants average 57 years of age, with the oldest being 82. Their experience in oil painting ranges from as little as one month to six years. The exhibition amply demonstrates the vast potential of universal aesthetic education and lifelong learning.

Under the guidance of the Department of Science, Technology, and Informatisation of the Ministry of Education, the Global Smart Education Conference Organising Committee has launched the “2025 Outstanding Case Collection in Smart Education” to further promote the digital education strategy and encourage mutual learning and experience sharing in smart education.

On 3 September 2025, a grand military parade was held in Tiananmen Square, Beijing, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. A group of Experimental College students from the Open University of China (OUC) were honoured to be on-site, sharing in the solemn and inspiring moment as it unfolded. They are representatives from various walks of life - entrepreneurs, artists, front-line workers and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) servicemen.

14 September 2025, Beijing – The Closing Ceremony of the 2025 “Golden Age Cup” National Senior Arts Showcase & Performance was held at the Future Theatre of the China Soong Ching Ling Science & Culture Centre for Young People, Beijing, China.
