Beijing, 3 December 2025 – Dr. WANG Qiming, President of the Open University of China (OUC), visited the Health Human Resources Development Centre of the National Health Commission (hereinafter referred to as the “Centre”). Inner Mongolia, 21 October 2025 - The "Healthy and Happy China Tour" series of the Seniors University of China (SUC) was successfully held in its Inner Mongolia Branch. Beijing 14 September 2025 – The Closing Ceremony of the 2025 “Golden Age Cup” National Senior Arts Showcase & Performance was held at the Future Theatre of the China Soong Ching Ling Science & Culture Centre for Young People in Beijing, China, marking the conclusion of the six-month nationwide cultural event for the elderly.
20 September 2025, Jingdezhen – The Fifth Online Oil Painting Teaching Achievements Exhibition of the Open University of China (OUC) and Seniors University of China (SUC) was officially opened in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province. The exhibition showcases works by 104 participants from 20 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across China, as well as from countries and regions including the United States, New Zealand, Canada, and Japan. The participants average 57 years of age, with the oldest being 82. Their experience in oil painting ranges from as little as one month to six years. The exhibition amply demonstrates the vast potential of universal aesthetic education and lifelong learning.
14 September 2025, Beijing – The Closing Ceremony of the 2025 “Golden Age Cup” National Senior Arts Showcase & Performance was held at the Future Theatre of the China Soong Ching Ling Science & Culture Centre for Young People, Beijing, China. Jointly organised by the Seniors University of China (SUC) and China Education Television (CETV), the event presented a panoramic view of older adults’ vitality in the new era.
