To thoroughly implement the work requirements for running elderly universities proposed by Comrade Huai Jinpeng, minister of the Ministry of Education, at the establishment of the Seniors University of China (SUC), and to further improve the construction of the national elderly university system, enrolment trials, and the implementation of the " Health Care and Preservation, Learning and Travel " project, the SUC organised a System Construction Seminar and " Health Care and Preservation, Learning and Travel " Project Acceptance Meeting in Chengdu on 24-25 March 2023.

On March 18, 2023, the School of Art of the Open University of China (OUC) held an exchange on Wukesong Campus in Beijing as part of the “Online Oil Painting Commune”.
On the morning of March 22, 2023, the Education Foundation of the Open University of China (OUC) of Beijing held the 5th session of its first council at the university. All the directors, council supervisors, and the secretary of the joint Party branch of the Labour Union and of the Foundation attended the meeting. On the afternoon of 17 March 2023, Cai Guoying, the former vice chairman of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Political Consultative Conference and the president of Ningxia University for Older Adults, visited the Open University of China (also known as the Seniors University of China - SUC) for a discussion and exchange.
