The Parallel Session of the World Digital Education Conference 2026, themed “Digital Intelligence Empowerment for a Ubiquitous and Accessible Lifelong Education System,” is organized by the Open University of China and supported by Zhejiang Open University, and will convene on the afternoon of May 12. Approximately 150 participants from China and abroad are expected to attend.

Focused on the demands of digital education and lifelong learning development, the session will center on two major themes: Construction of a Lifelong Education System Driven by Digital Intelligence Technology and Innovative Exploration and Practice of Digital Learning Networks. It will bring together global education stakeholders for exchange and discussion.

During the session, the Personalized Intelligent Agent Platform for Lifelong Learning. A multilingual public portal dedicated to AI literacy education will also be introduced. The session will share China’s experience in promoting lifelong learning, advance international educational cooperation, and contribute to the development of a lifelong education network that is both borderless and human-centered.
