In 2018, based on the requirements of the Notice of the Implementation of Comprehensive Teaching Inspections, an inspection team for the Experimental School of the Open University of China (OUC) was set up to conduct and implement 2018 teaching inspection work at three local experimental schools. From 10-18 October, 2018, onsite teaching inspections were made at the OUC Nanhai Experimental School, Taiyuan Experimental School, and Beike Learning Centre.
From 21-26 October 2018, the Open University of China (OUC) held a seminar for key tutorial teachers (class counsellors). The seminar was organised by by the OUC Department of Student Affairs and Teacher Development and was attended by 73 tutorial teachers (class counsellors) from 38 OUC branches nationwide.
On 27 October 2018, the Weigongcun Learning Centre of the Experimental School of the Opening University of China (OUC) held an opening ceremony themed “Heartfelt Welcome to the New Students, Moving forward Together” for the new students of the autumn semester of 2018.
On 27 October 2018, a conference on textbook review and course resource construction deployment for the Automotive Service Engineering (undergraduate) major was held by the School of Automotive Engineering, Open University of China (OUC).
In order to promote the scientific research and innovation ability of the Open University of China (OUC), develop the OUC’s scientific research team, access the power of scientific research, and build a learning and communication platform for teaching and scientific research personnel at the OUC and enable them to better understand development trends in open and distance education, the OUC held an advanced seminar for its teaching and scientific research personnel in Beijing from 14-19 October, 2018.
From 23-24 October 2018, a work conference for three majors (Business Administration, Marketing, and Logistics Management) from the Open University of China (OUC) teaching and research centre group was held in Suzhou, Jiangsu province.
My generation may look back on our time at a Radio and TV University (RTVU) as the most precious period in our lives.
To help implement teaching reforms and enhance teaching quality, exchange experiences, build consensus, innovate through collaboration, and jointly promote the reform and coordinated development of majors, the OUC convened the 2018 conference of the central teaching-research team for the Accounting and Financial Management majors in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, from 10 – 12 October. 16 representatives of the OUC headquarters and branches attended.
