Guangzhou Radio and TV University (RTVU) Alumni Association was established on December 28, 2013. An “Open Day” activity was also launched on the same day.  More than 700 alumni from various fields and nearly 300 incumbent and retired teachers gathered to celebrate this important occasion. Shaanxi Radio and TV University (RTVU) and Shaanxi Broadcast & TV Network Media Group Co., LTD signed a strategic cooperation agreement on December 26, 2013. Lan Xinzhe, President of Shaanxi RTVU, and Lv Xiaoming, Chairman of the Group co-signed the agreement.


The finale of Henan RTVU’s law major case design and analysis competition was held on November 30, 2013. This competition was divided into two stages: submissions and on-site. Students submitted a total of 201 works, among which 60 works were awarded first prize, second prize, third prize or excellence awards.

Hunan RTVU’s Yuemiao Literary Prize awards ceremony was held on November 27, 2013. The Prize was donated by and named after alumnus Liu Yuemiao. 19 prize-winning alumni and teachers and students gather to witness the ceremony.


The “Training Action for Thousands of Employees in Guangdong” activity, sponsored by Guangdong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and organized by the Open University of China (OUC), Southern Daily, and Guangzhou Distance Education Centre, was launched at the OUC (Guangzhou Branch) on December 30.

The 2013 Annual Conference for China’s Educational professionals and the Best of Chinese Education Awards Ceremony was held at the Diaoyutai State Guest Hotel in Beijing by China Internet Information Center ( on December 12, 2013.
On December 19th 2013, Chongqin Radio and TV University (RTVU) signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation with the Open University of the United Kingdom (OUUK). Hu Jiming, Vice President of Chongqin RTVU, and Steve Hill, CEO of International Affairs of the OUUK, signed the agreement on behalf of each party.

On 3rd December 2013, a strategic cooperation agreement was officially signed at the activity site for “Hebei: An Act of Kindness for a Harmonious and Prosperous Society” an exhibit at the 2013 International Disabled Persons Day festivities co-sponsored by Hebei RTVU and the Hebei Disabled Persons’ Federation (HDPF). The agreement announced the joint establishment of the Hebei RTVU School for the Disabled which marked the formal initiation of the distance education project for people with disability in Hebei.
