2017 marked the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Open University of China (OUC).
On December 28th, 2017, the inaugural meeting of the Dalian Community University was held at the Dalian Radio and Television University (RTVU).
On the 25th and 26th of December, 2017, the plenary session of the Second Academic Committee of the Open University of China (OUC) was held in Beijing.
Recently, Li Daqian, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), was invited by the programme Science and China: Lectures by Academicians and Experts to deliver a video-recorded lecture titled Perfect Mathematics at the Open University of China (OUC). Liu Chen, OUC vice president, came to the recording site and had a pleasant talk with Professor Li.
On 19th October 2017, at the closing ceremony of the 2017 ICDE, general secretary of the ICDE Gard Titlestad presented the ICDE Institutional Prize of Excellence award to OUC president Yang Zhijian.
In the report of the 19th National Congress of CPC, General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly stated that as socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, the principal contradiction facing Chinese society has evolved.
Abstract:
On 10th October 2017, the leaders of 5+1 open universities in China, including the Open University of China, Beijing Open University, Jiangsu Open University, Guangdong Open University, Yunnan Open University, and Shanghai Open University gathered in Shanghai to discuss “the progress and achievements of open university construction.”
In August,2012, I began working at the Beichen Branch of Tianjin Radio and Television University(RTVU), and began a new journey working as a teacher. Five years passed in an instant, the work in the branch not only brought me many honours. Most importantly, it enriched my life by helping me learn to love life more, and live a happier life.
