Dalian Radio & TV University (Dalian RTVU) has always been dedicated to continuing education, and has been implementing the education policies put forward by the 19th CPC National Congress. Over the past four decades, Dalian RTVU has been working on cooperation and integration with traditional higher education, and has paid particular attention to the education of special groups and the needs of society as a whole.
On 29 October 2018, a seminar with the theme of "Deepening the Construction of Key Law Majors and Improving the Capacity and Quality of the Teaching Team" was held for backbone teachers from the law major at the Open University of China (OUC).
In order to further improve teaching support, lead students in learning effectively through the Open University of China (OUC) learning network, and improve teaching quality in an all-round way, Hebei Radio and TV University (Hebei RTVU) convened a meeting to exchange experience on the usage and extension of the learning network.
On 6 November 2018, the opening ceremony of the training class for the Open University of China (OUC) “Long March Belt” Educational Project Targeted at Alleviating Poverty was held at the Party School of the CPC Tongdao Dong Autonomous County Committee, Huaihua City, Hunan Province. The first batch of 80 students attended the event.
The China International Distance Education Conference 2018 kicked off in Beijing on 1 November 2018.
From 9-12 October 2018, Shandong Radio & TV University (Shandong RTVU) held the fourth session of open education teacher certificate training in Jinan, Shandong Province. The training aimed to further enhance the construction of a team of open education teachers in the Shandong RTVU system, comprehensively improve the quality of open education, and create a reserve of professional teachers for the construction of the university.
On 20 October 2018, an expert panel review meeting for the professional cultivation plan for marine technology of Shandong Radio and TV University (Shandong RTVU) was held at Qingdao Radio & TV University (Qingdao RTVU).
The launch ceremony of Lifelong Learning for All Week in Tiantai County’s Jietou Township was held recently at the Cultural Auditorium of Zheqiu Village. Zhejiang Radio and TV University (Zhejiang RTVU) donated books to the village and made the learning network accessible.
