On 14 October 2019, the Open University of China (OUC) held an advanced seminar for backbone teachers from administration majors. The seminar lasted for one week and was attended by fifty-two administration major teachers from 25 branches, the Bayi School, and the headquarters.

 

The seminar is the fifth of its kind for backbone administration major teachers within the OUC system. The Faculty of Political Science and Law undertook the organisation of the seminar. The seminar mainly consisted of the study of hot and frontline issues including teaching reform and the research of ideological and political education, technology reform and social governance, game theory of PR governance,  state governance system structure, and relations between the Party and the government against a comparative perspective. Seven famous Chinese scholars and experts from universities and research institutes including Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Beihang University, Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC (National Academy of Governance) and Tianjin Foreign Studies University were invited to give lectures at the seminar.
