On September 23rd-24th, the 2015 China Mobile Internet+ Education & Mobile Intelligent Education Summit was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. It was sponsored by The Open University of China (OUC), Shaanxi Radio and TV University, and China Mobile Intelligent Education Innovation Strategic Alliance. It was organized by Distance Education in China and Shaanxi Tianyu Education Industry Development Co., Ltd.
On July 25th to 26th, 2015, the 3rd Seminar on the Reform and Innovation of Digitized Teaching at National Vocational Colleges & the Special Committee on Distance Education at Colleges and Universities’ "Integration of Six Networks" New Applications of Technology Show was held at the Beijing International Convention Centre.
On the morning of July 31st,2015, the “Signing Ceremony of Strategic Cooperation between Guizhou Tongren Polytechnic College and the Open University of China (OUC, aka China Central Radio and TV University,CCRTVU) Press” was held in Beijing.
The 2014 Open University of China (OUC) scholarship review has recently been completed, and a total of 8704 students have been awarded scholarships, of which 7530 students received an OUC Scholarship, 524 students won the OUC Scholarship “Fields of Hope”, 96 students obtained the OUC Sunshine Scholarship for the Disabled, and 554 students received the OUC Sergeancy Scholarship.
On July 16, 2015, "the Fifth Forum on the Cultivation of International Chinese Teachers" was held in Beijing, with the theme of "Refined Cultivation". More than 120 experts, teachers, and graduates from domestic and international education institutions, colleges, and universities in China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, the UK, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam participated in the forum.
On 14 July 2015, the second working conference of the Quality Assurance Committee of the Open University of China (OUC) was held in Beijing. The conference focused on quality issues, a united quality consensus, clarifying ideas, and taking effective measures to raise overall quality.
In order to fully carry out the spirit of the 18th CPC National Congress and its Third Plenary Session and Fourth Plenary Session, solidly push forward the implementation of National Outline for Medium- and Long-term Educational Reform and Development, and implement the relative requirements of “Suggestions on the Implementation of Deepening the Reform of Examination and Enrollment System” of the State Council;
On June 30, 2015, the Open University of China (OUC) held the “Six Networks Integration" information technology application show. 64 projects from 22 faculties and departments of the OUC were presented at the show. The colorful exhibition attracted many members of the OUC’s faculty and staff.
