The press affiliated to the Publishing and Media Group of the Open University of China (OUC) was rated as Excellent for its performance in the 2021 social benefits evaluation of books. This is the second year in a row that the OUC Press has been rated as Excellent, receiving a new record score in the evaluation.

Mr Yang Weiping, deputy director of Cybersecurity Division of the Centre of Educational Management Information and the Assessment Centre of Classified Safety Protection for Educational Information of the Ministry of Education, spoke on Cybersecurity Risks and Countermeasures in Education Systems.
On the afternoon of 8 September 2022, the Open University of China (OUC) held a conference to celebrate the 2022 Teachers’ Day, summarising and commending the achievements and honours obtained by all the staff over the past year. More than 170 people, including the OUC leaders, teachers commended and representatives of teachers from various departments, attended the conference in person, and other staff members attended the conference online.
