With the rapid development of online education, it is an important and urgent task to improve the online education and teaching ability of college teachers. On 23 December, the Meeting of the Open University of China (OUC) to Advance Reform and Development in 2021 was convened in Beijing. The purpose of the meeting was to study and implement the guiding principles of the fifth and sixth Plenary Sessions of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), to investigate and deploy key tasks for 2022, and to accelerate the construction of world-class open universities with Chinese characteristics for high-quality development.
