To enhance teaching skills, help its teachers grow, and select participants for the Teaching-skills Competition of the Open University of China (OUC), the OUC Faculty of Science and Engineering held an activity for teachers to discuss teaching and showcase their teaching skills on 6 April 2021. All teachers in the faculty attended.

On the afternoon of 21 April 2021, an opening ceremony was held in the community-home-care service centre in Xindian Town, Jin'an District, Fuzhou City.
The Party branch of the Logistics and Security Department of the Open University of China (OUC) has decided, starting in May 2021, to help a student having financial difficulties until she o is enrolled in university, aiming to consolidate the poverty-alleviation achievements of the university and develop activities related to study of the history of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in a down-to-earth manner.
Recently, in the 2020 Catalogue of Highly Recommended Publications for Village Libraries, released by the National Press and Publication Administration, two publications of Multimedia Press of Publishing & Media Group of the Open University of China (OUC),Low Carbon Transformation for Households and Dialogue on Growth in the Sunlight: A Talk with Parents about the Psychological and Educational Problems of Children, were included on the list of key audio-visual products and electronic publications.
An opening ceremony for the China-Germany Master’s Degree Programme, jointly launched by the Open University of China (OUC), Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (OVGU), and the Beijing International Institute of Asia-Europe Education and Culture (AEEC Institute Beijing), was held on 18 April 2021, a day which also witnessed the unveiling of a related training centre. This centre, to be established at the OUC, will undertake project cooperation.
