On 24 February 2020, Jing Degang, secretary of the Party Committee and president of the Open University of China (OUC), gave the “First Lecture of the New Term” with the theme of "Patriotism and Growth.” The lecture received good feedback from teachers and students in the school system. Teachers and students wrote down their impressions, saying that the First Lesson created a sense of cordiality and benefited them a lot.

With 45 branches nationwide, including Wuhan Radio and TV University and Hubei Radio and TV University, the Open University of China (OUC) quickly extended help and support through various channels when COVID-19 broke out in China at the end of January 2019. I never knew that we could work so closely together until the disease broke out.
