The Science and Engineering sub-committee of the 2nd Academic Committee of the Open University of China (OUC) held a plenary meeting in Tianshui City, Gansu Province, on 16 and 17 November, with 12 members of the sub-committee, and heads of the Faculty of Science and Engineering of the OUC headquarters and Tianjin Branch, attending.
In order to teach efficient use of the digital library, and promote digital reading, the Open University of China (OUC) provided online training and promotion to freshmen from 22 October to 17 November 2020.

The Open University of China (OUC) held a training workshop for the Institute of Teachers’ Professional Development of Mongolia (ITPD) from 17-18 November 2020, in an attempt to implement a cooperation agreement with UNESCO.

In 2020, Covid-19 has affected hundreds of millions of people. In order to enhance efforts to prevent the spread of the disease, as required by the Ministry of Education (MOE), the Open University of China (OUC) recruited volunteers for this purpose, and sent eight teachers (Wang Jia, Gao Hui, Tu Chenyang, Wang Di, Wang Yu, Zhang Huiguang, Zhang Jingzhuo and Yang Jianliao) to work in the office of the MOE leading group dealing with Covid-19.
