Zhejiang Radio and Television University (Zhejiang RTVU) recently held a briefing on the progress of the construction of the credit bank for lifelong education in Zhejiang Province.

It was a leisurely weekend on October 25, 2015. Hu Jia was sitting up at her desk, with her phone in her hands and her eyes on the screen, waiting anxiously for the results of the national comprehensive insurance business skills contest.

On December 17, 2015, Zhejiang RTVU for Older Adults held a teachers’ working conference for Zhejiang Province in Huzhou. At the conference, they reviewed school works from 2015 and deployed a working plan for 2016. 

Wu Jun and Zhang Haiming, a couple from Anhui and Inner Mongolia respectively, started from scratch like the millions of other migrant workers in Guangzhou. They started from the bottom and built a new world of their own with their own hands. 

On December 1, 2015, Anhui RTVU and Anhui Auto Industry School signed a cooperative agreement to officially found and operate Anhui RTVU’s School of Automotive Engineering. According to the agreement, both sides will adopt a flexible and innovative way to expand the scope of subjects, while improving enrollment and the level of education. They will also jointly build and share practical training centres for students, all to further cooperate in-depth and push the development of open and distance education in the province’s automobile industry. 

"Promote endless learning, meet at the RTVU, integrate learning into practice, and join forces with to make progress daily." To leverage the cultural features and advantageous resources of local scenic spots in carrying out teaching activities, and serve the construction of a learning society and lifelong education system in Zhejiang province, Zhejiang Radio and TV University’s (Zhejiang RTVU) "micro RTVU" WeChat platform has developed the "DD Study Tour."

On November 25, 2015, Hubei Radio and TV University (Hubei RTVU) met with Hubei University for Older Adults to discuss preparatory work for establishing Hubei University for Older Adults. The two agreed that Hubei University for Older Adults will establish its school system across the province by leveraging the advantages of the Hubei RTVU school system. The Vice Presidents of Hubei RTVU, Li Hui, and Hu Xiong attended the conference.

To further propel the “Development Plan for Farmer College Students” and showcase the spirit of new farmer college students, Yueyang RTVU held a speech contest for “New Farmer College Students,” and the final contest concluded on December 4, 2015.
