"Promote endless learning, meet at the RTVU, integrate learning into practice, and join forces with to make progress daily." To leverage the cultural features and advantageous resources of local scenic spots in carrying out teaching activities, and serve the construction of a learning society and lifelong education system in Zhejiang province, Zhejiang Radio and TV University’s (Zhejiang RTVU) "micro RTVU" WeChat platform has developed the "DD Study Tour."

The programme is currently in its trial period. After scanning their code and authenticating their identity, tutors and students at Zhejiang RTVU will be able to enjoy exclusive preferential treatment at certain tourist attractions, making it more convenient for them to carry out teaching and campus cultural activities.

The "DD Study Tour" programme relies on cooperation between Zhejiang RTVU and the local government to provide preferential treatment at scenic spots, supporting tutors and students in carrying out campus cultural activities, research on public opinion, and publicizing of the CPC committee government’s work. Activities consist of ideologically and politically relevant education, on-site teaching, and social practice. According to Tutor Mei from Jingning Campus of Zhejiang RTVU and Tutor Pan from Lanxi Campus, "Muma bidding and anti-corruption education base" of Jingning Yunzhongdaji, and "Zhuge anti-corruption education base" of Zhuge Bagua village will be future teaching bases. Tutor Bao from Dongyang Campus recommends visiting the Lu-Family Residence. There is a saying, "The Forbidden City in the north, Lu-Family Residence in the south, both are worth a visit." The Lu-Family Residence is an excellent place to learn about Dongyang traditional culture. According to Tutor Wang from the Keqiao Campus, commercialization is currently unpopular, and An'chang in Keqiao is just as worthy of a place to visit, where you can learn about the most authentic original town life.

In addition, Tonglu School, Haining School, Yueqing Branch, Anji Branch, Xianju School, Longquan Branch, Suichang Branch, and Yunhe Branch also agreed to cooperate with local scenic spots. The number of cooperating scenic areas has reached nearly 30. After the scenic areas have received training on data uploading using the university’s WeChat platform, technical docking, and ticketing windows, the preferential treatment at scenic areas will commence for Zhejiang Province RTVU tutors and students.

Relevant heads of Zhejiang RTVU said the WeChat-based "DD Study Tour" will allow campus activities to be carried out across space and time, bringing online teaching into real life.
