Those having obtained teacher-qualification, nurse-practitioner, or new-media editor certification, among others, are eligible for accreditation by the Credit Bank of the Open University of China (OUC). The Credit Bank platform enables credit transfer for eight categories of professional certification and learning outcomes with no fixed forms, making repetition of coursework unnecessary.

On 29 December 2022, the 21st China Conference on Distance Education 2022 was held online and offline with the theme of “Lifelong Learning and Digital Transformation of Education”.
On 28 December 2022, the Engineering Research Centre for Technology Integration and Application of E-Learning of the Ministry of Education ("Engineering Centre” for short) held a meeting to discuss the year’s work and plan for that of 2023, aiming to implement the guidance of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and to aid the development of digitalisation at the Open University of China (OUC).
In order to implement the rural revitalisation strategy, consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, and help with rural revitalisation, the Chinese Veterinary Medical Association organised the collection of cases of “Veterinarians’ Action in Rural Revitalisation” in 2022, calling for cases from relevant practitioners, public government institutions, and enterprises engaged in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine.
On 22 December 2022, the Open University of China (OUC) held a meeting on spring 2023 enrolment. Li Song, OUC vice president, and a member of the OUC Party Committee, delivered a speech, and 7,682 people, including leaders of the OUC headquarters teaching departments, heads of some majors, staff of the OUC headquarters enrolment office, leaders and staff in charge of enrolment in branches (schools) and study centres, attended remotely.
