On April 28, 2016, a delegation led by Vice President Trofimov Vsevolod Viktorovich from the National Open Institute in St. Petersburg visited Fujian RTVU.

In order to help military veterans with their employment as well as comprehensively improve their employ-ability, Sichuan RTVU implemented a vocational education and skills training programme within its local schooling system for military veterans in Sichuan province.

A few days ago, the teaching video programme series Stepping into Inkstone Culture, co-shot and produced by the Open University of China (OUC) and the Federation of Ink-stone Culture (FISC) under the Association of China Yan Huang Culture Research (ACYHCR), was launched online.

It was a Saturday afternoon and Yang Jiyan was meeting a client in her office at Sichuan Langzhao Law Firm. I waited for a while before her client left. She felt sorry and said with a smile, “We lawyers appear to be quite free. In fact, we almost have no weekends or holidays and have to work overtime to finish cases once we take them on.”

With the joint efforts of OUC headquarters, OUC branches, local colleges, and learning centres, the OUC's Cloud Classroom Project Phase II has been completed, and the cloud classroom has been officially put into use.

Between April 4 and 8, 2016, the 7th WIETE (World Institute for Engineering and Technology Education) Annual Conference on Engineering and Technology Education, and the 4th Mediterranean Seminar on Engineering and Technology Education, were held at the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus in Athens, Hellas, Greece.

On April 9 & 10, 2016, Pan’an Branch, Zhejiang RTVU organized a series of teaching practice activities at Jiusuier Ecological Planting Garden in Tiantai County, Siwu Chuangke Ecological and Agricultural Venture Garden, and Hou’an Village for over 40 students in the fall of 2014 class of the Tourism Agriculture programme.
