
This major, one of the earliest university majors in China, began to enroll junior-college students in 2002. The OUC now boasts a stable and experienced teaching team. Enrollment of undergraduate students began in the spring of 2020.
Well-known experts from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Central University of Finance and Economics, and Beijing Union University are employed to edit textbooks and give lectures, providing students with the best learning resources available.
In order to implement the national policy of integrating teaching with industry, we have established good relations with many enterprises and other institutions, including Alibaba, Beijing Bodong Qiancheng Information Technology, the China Electronic Commerce Association, Baidu, and Tencent. By collaborating on resources, and the design and implementation of instruction, we aim to provide students with practical skills relevant to e-commerce.
Objectives
The undergraduate e-commerce major trains humane, ethical and innovative professionals to meet the needs of the socialist market economy. They are skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to e-commerce operations and customer service, and can adapt to the requirements of internet business operations and enterprise management.

The OUC (formerly CCRTVU) began to enrol junior college Economic Management majors in 1983. In 2011, a junior college programme in Human-resources Management was launched, with enrollment beginning in the autumn semester. In the autumn of 2019, the Human-resources Management major started to enroll undergraduates. Experts from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Renmin University of China, Beijing Technology and Business University and other research institutes or universities are invited to edit textbooks and give lectures to provide students with the best resources available.
Objectives: In order to meet modern development needs, the Human-resources Management major (upgraded from junior college to undergraduate) aims to cultivate rule-observing professionals who are honest and friendly, possess professional competence and integrity, are well-rounded, and understand the basic theories and methods of their field, making them competent at personnel management, organisation, coordination and communication, and able to practice human-resources management at primary and intermediate levels of army, party and government organisations.

The Accounting major requires 5 years of full-time studies, with student status valid for 8 years.
Objectives: The major aims to cultivate ethical accounting professionals with lifelong devotion to the Chinese socialist market economy, cultural competence, and a high level of skill, who are equipped with a strong theoretical basis in economics and management; who can handle work-related issues, have mastered the basics of financial accounting, accounting analysis, and other areas, can use computers and the internet in their work, and are competent to undertake accounting, accounting analysis, decision-making, financial management and auditing in a variety of enterprises and other institutions.

The major aims to cultivate students ethically, ideologically, politically and culturally, developing both their integrity and professional competence in order to meet the needs of the socialist market economy, to which they will be expected to devote their lives. Objectives: This major aims to cultivate both integrity and professional competence in students so that they develop in an all-round way, understand the latest developments in logistics, including regulations and trends, master its basic theories and methods, including supply-chain management, understand demand analysis for logistics, can draft operations schemes and undertake process control, and are able to undertake ongoing professional development.

Online Learning
Students can log onto the OUC website to access video and text resources for their courses. They can interact with teachers and other students and complete their tasks there.
Face-to-face Tutoring
Each learning centre arranges needs-based face-to-face tutoring that is course-appropriate, including on-site teaching case studies and group discussions.
Comprehensive Training
This combines classroom with hands-on training either on- or off-campus, or by way of logistics-management teaching software.
Investigations
Teachers and students work together to draft investigation plans, then investigate enterprises or other institutions related to logistics management individually or in groups to prepare a report.
Internships
Teachers and students work together on internship plans and to determine host companies, where students will work in logistics management to learn about what the work entails.
Research
Research on logistics-related issue of companies, in-depth studies of development and problems in local logistics industries, or summaries of successful experiences and typical cases of logistics practices will be conducted by students.

Forms of Study and Graduation Requirements
This major requires 4 years of schooling, with student status valid for 8 years, and a minimum length of study of 5 years. It is flexible, combining online and face-to-face instruction, and theory with practice.
It has 8 course modules and offers both junior college and undergraduate degrees, with 78 credits required for the former and 140 for the latter. Students who have met one of these requirements, as well as the minimum credits for each module, will be allowed to graduate after passing the examinations.
Graduates can apply for Bachelor of Management degree in accordance with the OUC’s trial rules for bachelor-degree conferral after passing the examinations.
