The Open University of China (OUC) launched an online teaching skills training for Mongolian teachers engaged in vocational education, the third of its kind, at the invitation of UNESCO from 8-9 December 2021.
To undertake in-depth discussion of the reform and development of the Social Work major of the Open University of China (OUC), and promote the pilot units of the "Coordinated Growth" project, on 6 December 2021 a meeting was held for the OUC Central Teaching and Research Group for the Social Work Major & the online training of the "Coordinated Growth" project.

On 3 December 2021, an instructional-design competition for curriculum-based ideological and political education was held at the Open University of China (OUC) in Beijing. The competition was for English teachers, and held both online and offline, with 20 teachers and teaching teams from 18 OUC branches winning awards, and over 1,200 participants attending online.
In order to further standardise and improve the Open University of China’s (OUC) student status registration, schooling record, and enrolment management, a training meeting was held on 30 November 2021.
On 24 November 2021, the “Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Strengthening Work for the Aged in the New Era” was released. The Opinions put forward for the first time the need to include education for older adults in the lifelong education system.
