In the golden fall of September, OUC headquarters held large-scale training classes on three occasions, providing a platform for core OUC tutoring and managerial personnel to enhance their theoretical knowledge and business operations capabilities, share and exchange experiences, and broaden their horizons.

On September 23rd-24th, the 2015 China Mobile Internet+ Education & Mobile Intelligent Education Summit was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. It was sponsored by The Open University of China (OUC), Shaanxi Radio and TV University, and China Mobile Intelligent Education Innovation Strategic Alliance. It was organized by Distance Education in China and Shaanxi Tianyu Education Industry Development Co., Ltd.

“You must cut off those dense, sick, and fragile branches. However, the key is to keep those fruit-bearing branches well,” said Zhou Xiaoyin, Chief Fruit Expert and team leader of Fruit Science and Technology Innovation in Lishui city, during an explanation of  key points in pruning kiwifruit during a course at the Xiangmiyuan Fruit Professional Cooperative Planting Base in Suichang County.

I remember it was a Saturday on March 17, 2012, at the routine opening ceremony and training session held each term for new students of open education at Gansu Radio and TV University’s (RTVU) Agricultural Reclamation Hexi Branch School, where I work.

A class tutor is the leader, organizer, and educator of a class, as well as a right-hand man and backbone of the school leadership in their work. I have worked as a class tutor at the Radio and TV University (RTVU) for over 20 years and served as a class tutor of full and part-time classes for 18 years.

On August 13, 2015, “Anhui Province’s Education Event and People of 2014” awards ceremony was held in Hefei, an event jointly organized by the Press Office of Anhui Province’s Department of Education, Anhui Province’s Education Publicity Centre, and the Anhui Youth Newspaper. Anhui Open University (Anhui OU)’s major First Government-lead Initiative, “Online Adult Education Park,” was selected and awarded as “Anhui Province’s Education Event of 2014” and the Anhui OU won a prize recognizing its excellence in implementation.

In order to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning, create a sound learning atmosphere, form good personal learning habits, demonstrate online and offline learning, trace periodic achievements, and set up both a typical and exemplary model, the Open University of China’s (OUC) Beijing Experimental School held an activity series entitled, "2015 Show My Works". The topic of this activity is "Post My Homework," showcasing students’ excellent homework.

Recently, Bayi School of the Open University of China (OUC) officially launched its "Dream Building Plan for the Employment of Veterans." The plan is designed to build an employment bridge between enterprises and veterans, aiming to open up a "one-stop" employment channel to address veterans’ employment issues.
