Xu Yufan, a senior teacher, is currently principal of Tian 'an Primary School in Xiamen, Fujian province. In the autumn of 2002, she started studies in the undergraduate Chinese Language and Literature programme at Xiamen Radio and TV University (Xiamen RTVU), and graduated with honours in July 2007. Xu Yufan was named “OUC Outstanding Graduate” in 2007, and her accomplishments were broadcast on the CCTV education channel.
To enhance community education and the cultural life of residents, the finals of the 4th Nanjing "Mum's Taste" Cooking Competition, jointly hosted by the Nanjing Education Bureau, Nanjing Radio and TV University (Nanjing RTVU), and the Nanjing Women's Federation, and sponsored by Nanjing Yuhua Radio and TV University (Yuhua RTVU)and the Yuhua Street Office, was held in Yuhuatai Middle School in Nanjing.

From 6-10 May 2019, the Open University of China (OUC) successfully held a training class, the second of its kind, for key teachers in elderly education.
The 2019 China Enterprise Learning and Talent Development Conference and the 5th China Enterprise College Annual Meeting co-sponsored by Distance Education in China and the China Enterprise College Federation was held on 10th May 2019.
