The incentive-based evaluation mechanism developed by Chongqing RTVU’s Open Education School has become popular among students. Between December 3 and 10, 2012, more than 150 students from the university’s Open Education School exchanged their study credits for gifts.

On December 1 2012, Hunan RTVU held a competition for students majoring in pharmaceutics. The competition required the contestants to distinguish between different Chinese traditional medicines with their eyes covered.
