On 11 November 2020, the Qingdao Branch of the Open University of China (OUC) and the New Future Online Education Group signed an agreement to cooperate in establishing the Entrepreneurship and Small Business (ESB) certification program.

In order to implement the requirements of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and the fourth and fifth plenary sessions of the 19th CPC Central Committee, on building a system of continuing education that enhances the ideological, moral, scientific, cultural, physical and mental-health capacities of the people, the 2020 “Lifelong Learning for All” week, focused on the benefits of "Smart Learning” and sponsored by the MOE Department of Vocational and Adult Education, was launched both online and offline on 1 November 2020.

On 14 November 2020, at the ceremony of the 40th China (Liuzhou) International Assistive Products & International Welfare Machine Expo held in Liuzhou, Guangxi Province, a signing was held to mark the establishment of the School of Rehabilitation Assistive-products Training at the Open University of China (OUC).

On the morning of 11 November 2020, in order to implement the guiding principles of the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education (MOE) on the Summary of Community Education Work during the 13th Five-Year Plan Period, the MOE Research and Training Centre for Community Education, established within the Open University of China (OUC), organised a video meeting to summarise community education work during the 13th Five-Year Plan and provide training on data filling and reporting.

On 12 November 2020, the autumn-semester bachelor-degree dissertation defences for non-commissioned officers were held on schedule at the Bayi School of the Open University of China (OUC).

 

On 5 November 2020, Li Qing, director and Party Secretary of the Bureau for Retired Personnel of the General Office of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC), led a delegation to the Open University of China (OUC) on an investigation tour.

From 3-4 November 2020, a seminar on “Research on Standards for the Construction of the Open University for Older Adults,” as well as a meeting to promote the study tour programme of the Open University of China (OUC), was held in Nanping, Fujian Province, with more than 40 educators engaged in education for older adults from 16 branches across the country attending the meeting.
