Profile of Du Linbo:
Du Linbo is a former level-four army master sergeant, an Administrative Management graduate from the Bayi School of the Open University of China (OUC),class of spring 2017, and a correspondent for the magazine Sergeant Distance Education. He has won third-class honours twice, and twice been recognised for his achievements in propaganda.
In 1997, Gu Maochun began working as a teacher at Gansu Radio and Television University (Gansu RTVU). For 20 years, he has earnestly implemented the Party's educational policies, been committed to Gansu RTVU and its mission, followed scientific progress in the field, and continued to improve his teaching. He is uncomplaining in his devotion to his job, and always willing to contribute; strives for perfection, has an innovative mindset, and has contributed to the development of teaching at Gansu RTVU. Recently he was listed by the Gansu Provincial Department of Education as one of the teachers possessing the four ideal teacher qualities.
Ma Guoyun is the head teacher for a number of majors in the school affiliated with Gansu Radio and TV University (Gansu RTVU), and directly responsible for teaching Management, Business Administration, and other courses.
Xiao Jianpeng is from Neijiang, Sichuan Province, and was a Law undergraduate in the 2016 class, obtaining his Bachelor of Law degree in 2018. In August of 2010, after graduating from high school, he enrolled in the military, was given the rank of sergeant, and named boat-navigation squad leader for the Hong Kong garrison. He participated in a series of military exercises, including the first trial voyage of the warship Liaoning, protection of the Xiangjiang River, and joint sea–and-air search-and-rescue. He was named "excellent shooter", "model trainee" and "excellent sergeant".
In 2013, after graduating from a higher vocational college in Hubei Province, I came to Wuhan alone, longing for a better life, and with an unlimited vision of my future. When I first arrived, everything here excited me. I fell in love with this city, and decided to settle down and make my life here. Renting an apartment and finding a job kept me very busy, but I was happy, and filled with a sense of achievement and seemingly inexhaustible energy.
I am a graduate of the Jimo School of the Qingdao branch of the Open University of China (OUC). The OUC has been a milestone on the road of my life and has left me with unforgettable memories.
I remember a philosopher once said that the goddess of fortune and prosperity does not give gifts, she gives opportunities. I never imagined I would have the chance to receive degree education after more than 10 years of work. When I signed up to study at the OUC, I was excited to have such a good opportunity for further study.
I was born in beautiful Yanji, the capital city of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture. I loved learning from an early age, finding it easy to learn maths, as well as the Hundred Family Names and the Three Character Classic. I always ranked top of the class at school and my father proudly collected my certificates of honour.
I am a primary-school teacher and a student at the Handan Radio and Television University (Handan RTVU). Before enrolling there, I had been working as a teacher, following my dream. But after starting work, I found that my training was insufficient. As General Secretary Xi Jinping has said, “A dream starts with learning, and a career with practice. These days, what we need to know changes rapidly, and slacking off means falling behind.
