Editor's note: In the Gengzi New Year, a war without arms started nationwide. At a time when families should be reunited, a group of OUC students mobilised to help Wuhan and rescue patients there!

The white-robed angels whose deeds have moved people all over the country say: "We are called "warriors", but have chosen this profession, and it is our duty to help fight the epidemic! We shall dedicate ourselves to the interests of the country over our personal interests".

Why are so many taking part in this struggle? Let's pay tribute to them, and tell their stories.

Xining Caojiapu International Airport was bathed in the warm sunshine of the plateau when 135 medical staff from 16 medical institutions, including the Qinghai People's Hospital, the Qinghai University Affiliated Hospital, and the Xining First People's Hospital gathered there to support Hubei.

Among them was Zhang Zongying, an undergraduate Nursing major of the Qinghai Branch Spring 2011 class. As head nurse of the ICU of the Qinghai Women's and Children's Hospital, she did not hesitate to sign up for the event. During an interview she said, "This is a war without arms, but I believe we will win. We will strive for victory!" The steadfastness of her eyes was reassuring to everyone.

A young nurse, Wang Shirui, enrolled as a Nursing undergraduate at the Qinghai branch in the autumn of 2019. Though only 24, her leaders see her as a good nurse who is serious and enthusiastic about her work, while her classmates see her as optimistic and energetic. Her girlishness has given way to fearless heroism.

Hao Yuhan enrolled as a Nursing undergraduate in the autumn of 2019. This petite and fragile girl has now become a valiant warrior in this battle.

The first medical teams sent to Wuhan included other students from the Qinghai Branch, such as Li Hui, a Nursing major in the Spring 2011 class; Yang Liu, an Autumn 2013 Nursing major; and Zhong Shengqin, a junior-college Nursing student from the Autumn 2013 class. They are the pride of the OUC, true heroes of this era, and the most beautiful Galsang flowers on the plateau! They are daughters, wives, mothers and sisters, and at the same time nurses and warriors! They carry our hopes, and shoulder heavy responsibilities, leaving their families to devote themselves to the family of our country and support Hubei. Like white-robed angels, they take responsibility for protecting people's health, do not fear the danger of the epidemic, and are bravely willing to sacrifice themselves.
