Beijing, 29 November 2025 - More than 50 students majored in Artificial Intelligence at the Experimental College of the Open University of China (OUC) visited the Huawei Beijing Exhibition Centre for a study tour. FAN Xianrui, Vice President of OUC, and RUAN Dongmin, General Manager of Huawei's Education Business, attended the event and delivered speeches. The students explored the exhibition hall in an immersive manner, gaining up-close experience with the industrial applications of cutting-edge AI technologies.

Vice President FAN Xianrui expressed her gratitude to Huawei and her expectations to the teachers and students involved in the study tour. She emphasised that artificial intelligence is the core engine of the technological revolution, and that OUC has achieved multiple outcomes in this field, including high-quality student recruitment, multi-dimensional teaching, digital-intellectual reform, and industry-education integration. This study tour is a key initiative to integrate theory with practice. She encouraged the students to become "precise observers, deep thinkers, and steadfast practitioners," fully empowering future industrial upgrades.

This event is an important part of the Experimental College's efforts to deepen industry-education integration and carry out practical teaching, helping students broaden horizons and deepen understanding. In the future, the Experimental College will further collaborate with industry partners, deepen diverse industry-education integration, and comprehensively cultivate AI talent who "are technically skilled, application-aware, and socially responsible."
