The Signing Ceremony was attended by ZHENG Qinghua who is adjunct professor at XJTU, founder and academic leader of the Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Big Data Knowledge Engineering, and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the XJTU delegation. From OUC side, President WANG Qiming, Vice Presidents LI Song, FAN Xianrui, LIU Xuanxuan and ZHOU Tianming, attended the Ceremony which was presided by Vice President LI Song.

This strategic cooperation is not only a vivid embodiment of China’s integrated strategy of “education, science and technology, and talent” and the goal of building a leading country in education, but also a key step in advancing educational digitalisation, empowering lifelong education through digital technology and supporting the establishment of a learning society.

Looking ahead, the two universities will centre their strategic collaboration on advancing the digital and intelligent transformation of lifelong education and accelerating the development of a ubiquitous and accessible lifelong education system. Through joint exploration of innovation, enhanced application of technologies, collaborative problem-solving, and united progress, they will compose a new chapter in high-quality digital and lifelong education. Together, they aim to make new and greater contributions toward building a learning society in which everyone can learn whenever and wherever they want to.
