Beijing, 16 April 2025 - The Open University of China (OUC) hosted its 2025 Education Statistics Training programme. Vice President ZHOU Tianming attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

CUI Naipeng, Deputy Director of the Department of Reform and Development / Office of Research Management, outlined operational plans for the year. Representatives from the Seniors University of China, OUC Experimental College, and OUC Online Education & Information Technology Co., Ltd. physically attended the meeting. More than 100 division-level administrators and statistical staff members from the university's provincial branches and industry and corporate colleges participated online.

Vice President ZHOU highlighted that since its inception in 1999, OUC’s statistical system has achieved remarkable progress, establishing a nationwide data network that effectively supports institutional development. He emphasised that this training creates a robust framework for executing high-standard statistical operations in coming years. Moving forward, OUC’s statistical work will be focused on elevating data quality, maximizing analytical value, and delivering more impactful services.
