Recently, the case "OUC: Rooted in Primary-Level Communities for Continuous Cultivation of Local Talent Who Are Willing to Stay and Be of Practical Use in the Countryside for the initiative of 'Agriculture, Rural Areas and Farmers'" was selected as one of the "2024 Rural Revitalisation Practice Cases" by Xinhuannet operated by Xinhua News Agency. It will be promoted at the "2025 Rural Revitalisation Empowerment Season: the 3rd Rural Revitalisation Forum."

As of December 2024, the "One College Student Per Village" Programme has covered 29 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country. It has enrolled 1.157 million students and has graduated 815,000 local students with junior college or under graduate level education in total.
