To serve the high-quality development of open education, promote the construction of a high-quality "dual-capability" teacher teams and fulfil the strategic cooperation agreement between the Open University of China (OUC) and iFLYTEK, the Department of Student Affairs and Teacher Development of OUC recently organised 44 teachers to participate in a thematic training workshop on digital literacy and intelligent teaching at iFLYTEK.

Theme report on "iFLYTEK AI Courses Aid Talent Cultivation"

The participating teachers visited the iFLYTEK Artificial Intelligence Exhibition Hall and gained a comprehensive understanding of the application of iFLYTEK artificial intelligence in various scenarios. During the event, Hui Zhiru, Director of Higher Education Products at iFLYTEK, provided a detailed analysis of the application of virtual human technology, knowledge graph construction, automated content generation, and other technologies through case sharing, demonstrating the practical experience of how artificial intelligence technology assists in the construction of digital courses.

Practical experience of AI classroom application

During the event, iFLYTEK also organised classroom application practice and group activities. The participating teachers brainstormed around the application scenarios of AI in teaching, actively experienced AI classroom tools, and engaged in course design and achievement presentations.

The participating teachers expressed that the training has deepened their understanding of artificial intelligence, made them aware of the importance and urgency of digital transformation in teaching, and experienced the significant improvements in teaching effectiveness and student learning experience brought by the integration of AI into teaching practice.

Both parties had in-depth discussions on AI-empowered education and teaching, providing insights for optimising educational resource design, enhancing teachers' instructional capabilities, and promoting innovation and development in open education in the future. They hope to use this training activity as an opportunity to further strengthen learning exchanges and cooperation.
