Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the first batch of 18 typical case studies showcasing "Artificial Intelligence + Higher Education" application scenarios.

Among them, the submission from the Open University of China (OUC) titled “Innovative Practice of Large-Scale Personalized English Teaching Based on AI Technology” was included.

The selection process for the "Artificial Intelligence + Higher Education" application scenarios involved submissions from universities, expert evaluations, and final confirmation. The purpose of collecting and evaluating these case studies is to support the national "Artificial Intelligence Plus" strategy, promote the integration of higher education with AI technology, and use intelligent technology to innovate talent development models, reform teaching methods, and enhance educational governance. The aim is to identify, explore, and promote exemplary, forward-looking, and impactful practices in the application of AI technology in higher education.

Moving forward, the OUC will continue to enhance research and exchange, deepen exploration and practice in "Artificial Intelligence + Higher Education" in line with real-world conditions, and conduct AI-aided innovations in education and teaching methods. This will foster the widespread adoption of AI in higher education and continuously improve the quality of talent development.
