The Open University of China (OUC) officially launched a special website on the history of the Communist Party of China (CPC)on 15 April 2021.

The website aims to implement the CPC Central Committee's guidance and decisions on studying the history of the CPC, as well as the requirements stated by the Party Group of the Ministry of Education. With a focus on promoting study of the history of the CPC, its role models, and its achievements at the OUC, the event aimed to guide university CPC members and cadres to learn the history, embrace the truth, respect morality, be diligent in action, and enhance political judgment, understanding, and execution. It aims to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC with outstanding achievements directed at building a high-quality system of lifelong education and a world-class open university.

The website consists of pages including "Major Expositions", "Important Deployments", "Learning Trends", "CPC History Cloud Classroom", "Role Models", and "Reflections on Learning", and sets out to vigorously publicise the progress and results of implementing the study of CPC history at the university, as well as the typical experiences and practices of Party branches. It also stresses display of learning resources, including distinctive video lectures, micro courses, and online activities, in order enable CPC members and cadres to study the history of the CPC.

Meanwhile, the official "OUC Voice" WeChat account has been setting up a mobile platform to facilitate learning anywhere and anytime. It makes available resources that are easy to understand, and will help faculty and staff study trends in education as well as CPC history, and engage in effective interactions.
