In recent years, the OUC (CCRTVU) Secondary Technical School has continued to increase the intensity of its teaching reforms, capitalized on its cooperation with enterprises, alternated between working and learning, and enhanced the flexibility of its learning system. The school actively adapts to market demands and has established more than 80 majors. Zhang Hui introduced the development plan and perspective of the OUC to representatives present at the ceremonies, while also putting forward three wishes to branch school leaders and students: First, it is hoped that all branch schools uphold the mantra of “service first, education supreme”; Second, it is hoped that teachers at different levels will raise awareness about service among all students to foster progressive innovation, commitment to lifelong learning, and continuous self-improvement, as well as founding a sense of responsibility toward education for the country; Third, it is hoped that students study hard and succeed in their special field of study.

A freshmen representative delivered a speech expressing his dreams and longing for a better future. He said his wish was to “make the most of youth and strive to become a versatile talent who can contribute to the development of society.” Another representative delivered a speech recounting the struggle of studying under difficult circumstances and the fruitful results that come from perseverance. After the ceremony concluded, representatives visited the “Deep Integration of Information Technology and Education” school history exhibition and library, as well as the Credit Bank Management Office (Credit Accreditation Centre) of the OUC.
