These women have dedicated themselves to their work with unwavering commitment, shouldering responsibilities with quiet strength and reflecting their original aspirations through their prime years. They are trailblazers in their respective fields, and boundary-breakers in life. WU Hongmei graduated from the 2022 Autumn Ministry of Education “One College Student Per Village” Programme in Rural Administrative Management at Hebei Branch of the Open University of China. She currently serves as Principal of Xingtai Zhongbang Vocational Training School, Captain of the "Magnolia Mothers" Women's Volunteer Service Team, and General Manager of Xingtai Makai Catering Co., Ltd. In 2026, she was honoured as a "2025 National March 8th Red-Banner Holder" Her awards include "Hebei Provincial March 8th Red-Banner Holder" and "Hebei Provincial Red Cross Goodwill Ambassador."
As a catering entrepreneur, WU and her husband started from an 80-square-meter shop and developed it into a catering enterprise with 12 directly-operated stores and over 600 employees. They have consistently upheld their original aspiration of "cooking with conscience, doing business with sincerity," driving employment and income growth for the masses. During the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, their store became a brand promotion demonstration store.
In the field of public welfare, WU began engaging in educational philanthropy in 2010. In 2016, she took the lead in establishing the "Magnolia Mothers" Women's Volunteer Service Team, facilitating successful pairing of 58 children in difficult circumstances with loving mothers. To date, the volunteer service team has funded and assisted over 50 left-behind children in difficult circumstances, of whom over 20 have successfully completed their studies. Furthermore, three recipients have voluntarily joined the volunteer service team, enabling love to be passed on and continued.
As principal of the vocational training school, she conducts skills training based on public needs, helping more people master a professional skill and achieve employment. As captain of the volunteer service team, she leads the team in carrying out public welfare activities on a regular basis, establishing rest stations at various stores providing heartwarming services for outdoor workers, and extending warmth to those in need.
Over the years, WU has donated funds and materials valued at over one million yuan. Through practical action and warmth, she spreads positive energy, earning widespread social recognition and acclaim. Her exemplary deeds have been extensively reported by media including Hebeichangcheng Website and Hebei Daily.
