The 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th Special Olympic Games of the People's Republic of China came to an end in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. With extraordinary perseverance, students from OUC School for the Disabled, interpreted the Special Olympic spirit of "Dare to try, Strive for gain." Eventually, they won 19 gold medals, 10 silver medals and 10 bronze medals, bringing glory to the university and showing the remarkable demeanour of self-improvement and uplifting spirit among disabled university students in the new era.

OUC students participated in a diverse range of events, including cycling, wheelchair fencing, weightlifting, shot put, sitting volleyball, table tennis and athletics.

The outstanding accomplishments of the OUC students not only greatly inspired all teachers and students, but also encouraged the broader community of people with disabilities. Building on this brilliant performance, OUC will continue to foster a more inclusive and progressive campus culture, and support the all-round development of its students.
