In order to recognise outstanding women individuals, set examples for the others, and inspire women to cultivate self-respect, confidence, independence, and self-reliance, as well as to encourage them to forge ahead on a new journey and contribute to the new era by actively participating in the modernization of China, the All-China Women's Federation recently held a commemorative event for International Women's Day (March 8th) and an Awards Ceremony in Beijing.

TANG Chengfeng, studying Administrative Management at the Direct Division of the Chengdu Branch, currently serves as Director of the Welding Training Centre at Sichuan Chuanguo Boiler Co., Ltd.
Since starting her career in 2007, TANG has been deeply involved in the predominantly male-dominated field of welding. With relentless perseverance and dedication, she has mastered various advanced welding techniques, from argon arc welding to CO₂ gas shielded welding and pressure welding, breaking gender stereotypes and becoming a role model in her field.
TANG views completing the tasks as a basic duty and continually seeks ways to enhance work efficiency. Her unwavering commitment to learning and self-improvement has elevated her from a frontline worker to a distinguished teacher and expert in welding.
Beyond her professional achievements, TANG has contributed to the theoretical development of welding technology by publishing scholarly papers and authoring books. She plays a pivotal role in training high-quality skilled professionals through initiatives like the “Tang Chengfeng Model Worker and Artisan Talent Innovation Studio” and the “Welding Skills Master Studio”, significantly adding value to her company and driving the industry forward.
As a prominent female, TANG actively participates in community volunteer services, demonstrating her commitment to social responsibilities and embodying the styles of modern women.
