To effectively embody the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and successfully fulfill the goal of providing satisfactory open education, the Faculty of Agroforestry and Medicine (Rural Revitalisation College) organized a seminar titled "2023 Annual Teaching Skills Enhancement."

The objective of this seminar was to establish a high-quality teaching team, expedite the enhancement of teachers' educational and instructional capabilities, and demonstrate their distinctive teaching approaches.

Four instructors from the Faculty of Agroforestry and Medicine (Rural Revitalisation College) showcased and shared their teaching methods during the seminar. They seamlessly integrated political and ideological concepts into the course content, emphasizing the subject's distinctive features and upholding the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. The teachers adopted a logical and progressive approach to instruction, effectively bridging theory and practice, while prioritizing the development of students' critical thinking abilities. Their presentations were accurate and vivid, accompanied by a natural and poised teaching style. Through engaging class introductions, thought-provoking questions, interactive discussions, insightful case analyses, and comprehensive review sessions, they successfully sparked students' interest and enthusiasm for learning, thereby creating a vibrant and dynamic classroom atmosphere.

Professor Sang Guoyuan from the Institute of Curriculum and Pedagogy, Faculty of Education at Beijing Normal University, Professor Ouyang Yanling from the School of Medicine and Pharmacy within the Faculty of Agroforestry and Medicine (Rural Revitalisation College), and Professor Hu Lifeng from the School of Agriculture and Forestry served as critics, providing insightful professional feedback on the performance of each teacher. Additionally, the teachers engaged in extensive discussions and exchanges with the experts regarding the unique learning characteristics and effective learner support strategies in online education and adult education.

They expressed that this event not only offered them the opportunity to thoroughly analyze and study case studies of teaching skills, but also provided valuable inspiration and knowledge in the fields of educational theory, instructional techniques, and modern teaching methods. Through these interactions, they were able to gain profound insights and make significant advancements in their understanding of educational practices.

Li Guangde, dean of the Faculty of Agroforestry and Medicine (Rural Revitalisation College), emphasized that this activity not only served as a platform for discussing and consulting on the professional work of all teachers in the department but also constituted a significant component of the thematic education campaign focused on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It is their aspiration to foster the high-quality development of open education, enhance their awareness, elevate their expertise, engage in mutual learning, and further improve themselves through a dedicated commitment to learning and implementing the guiding principles outlined in the 20th CPC National Congress.
