In the autumn semester of 2013, the Beijing Study Centre of the OUC added two new study locations in Beijing: Wantong Automobile Maintenance School and Weishanzhuang Conference Centre. In order to provide satisfying teaching support services to these new locations, the Beijing Study Centre designed a system for the simultaneous teaching interaction of the different study locations and simultaneous recording to provide a teaching service package to students.

On the morning of September 15, 2013, the Beijing Study Centre achieved the simultaneous broadcast, and recording, of the class "General Introduction to Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" to multiple locations for the first time. 70 students, including those in the newly added Beijing Wantong Automobile Maintenance School and Weishanzhuang Conference Centre, were able to join in the class along with students at the Beijing Study Centre, and participate in classroom interaction.

As an “experiment and demonstration centre” of the OUC, the Beijing Study Centre provides teaching and management services to the newly opened teaching locations and explores how to best provide teaching and study support utilizing the deep integration of information technology with education, to explore the best teaching methods, study methods, as well as new management methods.

At present, the Beijing Study Centre has initiated the three-location two-way video lessons and recorded 12 classes to guarantee face-to-face class time for the students at each different location. The Beijing Study Centre also provides recorded courses and related resources to students who cannot be present, which can effectively solve problems related to a conflicting work-study schedule. The live broadcast and recording of the two way video course has performed as expected. Additionally, the Beijing Study Centre will continue the teaching and administration of these three -location two-way video classes, and continue to explore and research this teaching method, management method, and operation mechanism of the OUC and strive to provide a tailored study support services to students, continue to enhance schooling quality, and to adapt to the various study needs of social education and social members.
