Professor Yan Shuoqin graduated in Chinese Language and Literature from the Minzu University of China with a bachelor’s degree. He has studied at the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Nottingham. Now he is leading the courses of College Chinese, Advertising Creativity and Manifestation, Brand Competition Strategies, and Network Advertising Practice. He is a member of the China Advertising Society with the China Association of Higher Education, and a member of the Academic Committee with China Advertising Association. Pre-Qin Dynasty History Prose’ (written by himself), ‘Reading Chinese Classics .Historical Records’ (written by himself), ‘Reading Chinese Classics .Tang Dynasty Poems’ (written by himself), ‘Reading Chinese Classics .Strange Stories from a Scholar's Studio’ (written by himself), ‘Reading Chinese Classics .Historical Records’ (written by himself), ‘Visual Design Basis’ (written in cooperation), ‘Network Advertising Practice’ (written in cooperation), ‘Brand Competition Strategies’ (written in cooperation), and ‘Network Information Flow and Control’ (written by himself). The project Study on the Operation Mechanism of Modern Distance Education in Schools in which he participated won the first prize of Outstanding Scientific Research achievements of National Adult Education in 2007; the Multi-Media Teaching Software of Advertising Copy won the first prize of the Tertiary Group Multi-Media Courseware of the 13th National Multi-Media Education Software in 2008 and the first prize in the Multi-Media Courseware Contest of the China Radio and TV Universities in 2009; Online Course of Advertising Planning was selected as the outstanding course of the China Radio and TV University System in 2008; Online Course of Advertising Creativity and Manifestation was selected as the outstanding course of the China Radio and TV University System in 2010; Online Course of Online Advertising Practice was selected as the outstanding course of the China Radio and TV University System in 2013.
