Lin Zeyan, researcher and doctoral supervisor, is deputy director of the Development Research Centre of the State Council Human Resources Research and Training Centre. He is also deputy secretary general of the CHRDA (China Human Resources Development Association); deputy secretary general of China Talent Research; a committee member of the All-China Youth Federation; committee member of the senior title judgment committee of experts of the State Personnel Board; member of the national talent scientific achievement awards committee; and assessment expert for the National Business Administration Modern Innovation Achievement Award.

He mainly engages in economic and social development, talent development, and policy research and consulting. He was appointed leader of the strategy project “Research on Talent Motivation and its Safeguarding Mechanism” by the Central Talent Coordination Group. He has received more than 20 awards, and published hundreds of academic papers and research reports both at home and abroad, as well as dozens of books. In 2005 and 2006, he won the “Annual Outstanding Contribution Award” given by APHRRA (Asia-Pacific Human Resource Research Association) and IHRMA (International Human Resource Management Association). In 2006 and 2008, he won the gold award for achievements in research given by the CEHRA committee. Furthermore, he also won the “China Development Research Award” given by the Development Research Centre of the State Council.
