Wang Yu, who earned his doctorate in educational technology, is currently a lecturer in the Faculty of Education at the OUC. He is an active member of the Digital Learning Research Centre at Peking University and serves as a lecturer for the TITT Project at the Education Management Information Centre of the Ministry of Education. Additionally, he is a member of the Expert Committee of the Modern Education Branch of the Chinese Institute of Electronics. His primary research interests include digital learning, catechism and blended learning, microteaching, and innovative education. He has been recognised for his exceptional work with the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation award from Peking University. Over the past five years, he has published more than ten papers in CSSCI core journals. His contributions extend to the design and development of five catechism courses aimed at teachers' professional development. Notably, two of these courses, "Flipped Classroom Teaching Method" and "How Teachers Do Research," have been accredited as National High-quality Online Open Courses.
