Wu Jieming graduated with a master’s degree from the Department of Computer Science and Technology of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. She is now employed as the dean of the Computer Department in the School of Information Engineering of Northern China University of Technology. Her major research orientation is software engineering.

She is chief lecturer of the following undergraduate courses: Software Engineering, Operating System Principles, Overview of New Technology, and Software Engineering. She is also chief lecturer of the following postgraduate courses: Advanced Operating Systems, Software Testing and Modern Software Engineering.

 

Scientific Research:

Wu Jieming has hosted and implemented several large information system projects, of which the most notable are:

The ground information system of Beijing Capital Airport (1995-1998);

The Shenzhen (B share) central clearing and settlement system (1994-1995);

FOC flight aviation material management system for Xiamen Airlines (1997-1998);

“ILS-CRM-CACC” for the North China Bureau of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), which won third prize in the CAAC Scientific and Technological Progress award 2001;

Planned the Digitization of Nanjing Pharmaceutical Company Limited, completed in cooperation with China International Engineering Consulting Corporation in 2004;

E-government affairs system of Industrial Development Bureau, Mengtougou District (2005);

Research and development of an internet-based software requirement management tool (2006), as part of a surface scientific project for the Beijing Municipal Education Commission.
