Luo Xueke is a doctor of engineering, professor, master’s supervisor, and vice chancellor of NCUT.

He has been occupied in advanced manufacturing technology and high precision machining technology teaching and scientific research for a long time. He was a Beijing city-level candidate for “New Century Talents Project”, won the Beijing college teaching top teacher prize, and is a pioneer of ministerial trans-century academy and technology.

He enjoys a special government allowance from the State Council.

He teaches courses such as Numerical Control Theory, Numerical Control Machine Tools, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, and Numerical Control English. He was in charge of and completed ten more scientific research projects such as “Imaginary Axis Six Pole Tool Sharpening Exploitation”, “Precision Machining Process Simulation”, and “High Precision Dynamometry Vibration Test Device Development”.

He has gained provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological achievements, including one second prize and one third prize.

He complied Practical Numerical Control Series (gained first prize of ministerial excellent technological reading), Numerical Control Workers Training Textbook (gained the good market book title of China books and periodicals issue association), three series of Numerical Control and Numerical Machining Processing. He is the chief editor of Computer Aided Manufacturing, Numerical Control English, Numerical Control Theory and Numerical Control Machine Tool, Numerical Control Electrical Process Machine and so on. He translated ten more books, such as Numerical Control and Manufacturing Automation, CNC Programming Handbook and so on.

 

He has published more than twenty academic papers, including Computer Graphic Simulation of Numerical Control Code, X.K. Luo, K. Cheng and X.C. Luo, A 3D SIMULATED INVESTIGATION ON MACHINING INSTABILITY AND NONLINEAR ASPECTS IN CNC TURNING PROCESSES, Int. J. for manufacturing Science and production Vol. 5 No. 1-2 2003, ISSN 0793-6648, Grinding Parameter Design of Parallel Grinder Process Spiral Groove (Journal of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, 2005.1). Among these, five pieces were included in EI.
