Objectives: This major is designed to cultivate high-quality workers with strong practical abilities and political integrity in an all-round way; who have a high ideological and political level, and are well prepared theoretically and practically for horticulture; who can engage in modern horticultural production, promote science and technology, undertake industrial development as well as the operation and management of orchards, vegetable fields, greenhouses, and so on; and who can train students in professional ethics.

Length of study: The minimum length of study is five years, and the student status is valid for eight years since registration.
