I. Training objectives

Administrative Management mainly teaches policy-making, organisation management, and management of Party and government organs. Its main objective is to train practice-oriented management professionals with multiple competencies who can adapt to the needs of modern society, master the theories and methods of systematic administrative and general management, and plan, coordinate, communicate and execute within organisations. It also aims to instill public spirit and a sense of responsibility toward the socialist motherland, and develop students in an all-round way in terms of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and work education.

 II. Basic requirements

  1. For political and ideological education: To cultivate students who support the leadership of the Party and love their country, equip them with the desire to serve the people wholeheartedly, and teach them to abide by both legal and ethical principles.
  2. For key abilities: Students are expected to be able to communicate and cooperate, use information technology, solve problems, study independently, seek self-improvement, and adapt to career changes. They should also have self-management and self-discipline skills.
  3. For cultural education: Students should master the basics of history and culture and be competent in at least one foreign language.
  4. For specialised training: Students should master the basic theories of Administrative Management, and be familiar with its current situation and reforms in China.
  5. For professional skills: Students will be helped to develop solid investigation and expression, communication, coordination, and management-support abilities; become skilled at using computers and other modern office equipment, and competent in general administrative work.

III. Length of studies

The length of studies in the major is 4 years, with 8 allowed for part-time studies. The shortest period is at least 5 years.
