The OUC Academic Committee is the university’s highest academic organisation, with decision-making, deliberation, assessment and counselling responsibilities regarding university academic affairs in terms of overall coordination and organisation. The committee is active in relation to development of disciplines and academic evaluation.

The first OUC Academic Committee was established in September 2013, the second in December 2017, and the third in September 2021. The OUC Academic Committee operates under the leadership of its director, with the secretariat taking care of routine administration.
